    I think social networking matters a lot today because it lets the people connected while practically they dont have enough time to gather together. So its good to stay connected with the nearest people.

    Huge, huge importance. Google has even released statements saying so. Twitter, Facebook, Google + should all be major parts of your campaigns - twitter especially.
