    HI

I am looking to get back into a affiliate marketing after a bit of a break owing to lack of success; i however now feel that i am in a better position than before to make a go of it.

All of my traffic will come via Google, Yahoo et al rankings, i do not use ppc and have spent last few months working on seo so like to test it now.

I will be promoting my programs via a redirect so that when a user sees the ranking in google they click it and then end up on the merchant site. To this end i am not sure what domain to use.

i Have an old domain, i think about 18 months old nuclearzoo.com doesnt have a pr and very few backlinks but has a good age on it and using social bookmarking software and article submission i could easily get the links etc up; so do i:
    a. Use this domain and use a targeted subdomian each program; ie lets say i wanted to promote cheeese(??) i would use cheese.nuclearzoo.com or cheddar.nuclearzoo.com - would this be catchy enough on the eye to get people to click and also would the age of the domain also carry over and mean that the sub domains are considered old too?

    or do it

b: buy a new .info domain for each profram so i get something like nicest-cheeese.info - the reason i say that is at the moment they are only costing about £1 in uk so inexpensive.

The problem i have is that whilst the option b domains may look nicer in the search engines they will not be aged and could be hard to rank. Whereas in option a the domaisn would be nice and aged but may not look as professional.

At the end of the day as long as i have a good heading and decriptions do people really care what the domain address is, do they even really read it?

Any opinions people have on this would be most welcome please.

    thanks
    carl
