Anyone making money with adsense do reciprocal linking on their content sites? Is it or importance to SERPS to have a links page and exchange links or is it OK to get your off-page optimization done through paid one way links and article submissions? I would love to hear your views or ideas on the importance of reciprocal linking. Thanks in advance.

If you ask reciprocal link help or influence adsense I would say NO Is it or importance to SERPS to have a links page and exchange links? -it doesn't matter how many links page you have but it matter how many sites/pages link to you! (many site ask you do reciprocal but they dont link back to you.) is it OK to get your off-page optimization done through paid one way links and article submissions? -yes it's the way to gain backlinks. there might be some threads about paid-links but dont care about those and keep building backlinks the way you want. hope this help.
I do one-way linking and reciprocal with highly related sites. Reciprocal linking are less 'important' than one-way, but they not only help in the search engines, but generate traffic to your sites as well. Some of my best traffic is generated from my reciprocal link partners. Other SEO methods help the SE rankings, but traffic drives AdSense, and reciprocal link partners drive traffic to your site. I find article submissions and directory submissions help with the initial link building, as they aid in getting your site indexed. These links fade away over time though. Reciprocal and one-way links on other related websites do not however, and you need to build these to keep your link out there.

These are probably questions we'll never have specific enough answers to, to be honest. As one search marketing guru puts it, "there are things about Google's algorithms we'll never know." I try to focus on the things I can control -- creating quality content, sending out notes to related sites to ask them to link to me, and testing new versions of AdSense ads from time to time. I don't get a lot of traffic (between 200 to 400 visitors a day), so I allow my testing to take place over longer periods of time than, say, someone whose site receives thousands of visitors per day. But, I have found that over 8+ months of using AdSense and expanding my site's content, I've seen an upward trend in my earnings and traffic. It's slow, but steady. There are down days here and there, to be sure, but overall the trend is upwards. I read on another excellent site (selfmademinds.com) that you should expect to put 12 to 24 months of work into a site before you can expect to see significant earnings. I'd say that while each person's definition of "significant" is going to be different, I agree with that estimate.
if reciprocal links still earn better search engine rankings.. than your traffic will increase and see better adsense results.. however I dont both with rec. linkings anymore...especially if you have a quality site...
