• Make sure you do enough so you get indexed in Google • Make your url visible on chats, & social networking sites • Despite your attempt at niche topics have a general approach so that you can garner increased interest from viewers • Do not simply depend on one way traffic, Google treats these as orphan sites since there is currently no other site that links back to your site • Every site should have some other site pointing to it • Look around for link exchange • If not, at least zero in on linkbacks • Make yourself visible on all Google services • Enlist your site on top 50 article directories; submit articles on article sites giving links back to your site • Build a network of 7 - 8 external blogs and each one of them should have links to your site. At least 5 new wordpress blogs and post content there too • Get 50 % of traffic from external blog sites • Do regular postings on at least 10 free article sites • Type “free articles†on Google, and profile using page rank. Then simply select the top 10 sites page rank wise. Make sure that the site allows links inside the articles. Some sites do not allow that, for example Ezine allows only in the "about the author" section, that’s ok, but some sites don’t allow links at all, don’t post on these sites, it’s a waste. (Page rank + site allows links) • Go slow. Post only one article per week on a single site, that way you can cover 7 sites in a week or the best way, is to create at least 10 external blog sites, and use them to link back to the main your site • IT WOULD BE A COMPLETE WASTE IF YOU JUST KEEP POSTING ON YOUR SITE. • ALWAYS REMMEBER THAT Google counts external links as more important, meaning other sites linking to your site. • Be patient. Some sites may reject generic content, and some sites accept anything. Some sites like Ezine follow a strict rule. They will first edit and then let you know if your article is worth posting, it’s a very clerical job. • Open Google web analytics to get a fair idea of where your traffic is coming for and where you need to concentrate for increased traffic. Always check if you’re getting to the right viewers. • Here’s the final plan: • 5 top article sites, 5 new wordpress or Blogspot blogs, and your current sites and blogs that will be enough to start with. • Just keep posting content, that’s all. Target one a day, not all every day. Just one posting per day on any of these sites, so, you will have a complete cycle every 10 -15 days. If you’re on your own, you will go mad if you post on 10 different sites daily. • One more important thing, don’t use more than 4 backlinks in a single article. This is for the new blogs that you may open, and for article sites, only one or two links at the most. • It should always be a judicious mix of external and internal postings If you know anything else, please chip in. Any feedback, additions or disagreement is respected.
