How important is page numbers in the site?

    Hi,
    The site I'm working on now have only 10 pages.
    How important is it to have more pages in the site?

    I've heard for Yahoo! optimization it's better to have many pages in the site.
    Is is true? And more importantly does it apply to Google?

    page no is not important but if u have 200 page website and 10 page website, then in google 200 page website have more weight, more ranking in 200 pages and more traffic.

    It is good to have more pages. but try to update them.
