Exactly. Unfortunately, that's true - kinda sad really isn't it? Whatever happened to hunting food for your family/tribe and being happy you had eachother?
Well, you don't need money, and the more money isn't always better. It all depends on what you do with money that matters. The world doesn't have unlimited resources, but not unlimited. Money is more a battering tool for time than anything else. You trade you time for money, which means that money and time are linked and close to the same thing. Time exists without humans, and humans found a way to give and take time. If you have more money, the less you have to work, therefore you have more time. Time is more important than money in the end. It is also what you do with your money, as money on it's own is quite useless. Money without time and used poorly is useless.

There was an article in "Scientific American" that I couldn't agree more! it said that the excessive thought of money takes enjoying life and it's moments out of the picture! Sad but unfortunately very true!
People with a lot of money sometimes end up living only to A) Get more money or B) Spend more of their time attempting to keep their money secure. They may not end up living, and just having a stress that never ends. Gordon Gecko may have said that 'Greed is good', however it also may not lead to a good life. I'd rather have freedom than a large bank account, and money doesn't buy you freedom.
Fact it's the most important thing in life, even more important than life itself. Every war, is the cause of capitalism. Take the war in Iraq, Sadam just wanted to hold the world to random by invading other countries and controling their oil fields. Capitalism is a game and liking it or disliking it is irrelevant, as you'll always be a product of it. Capitalism is a game, some people win and some people lose. I can't say that the being a loser at it is very pretty to be truthful, but to be a winner, well lets just say you just don't know how good it gets! LOL humans evolved, you can't expect an intelligent creature to be roaming around butt naked forever trying to kill things with a stick. Humans do what humans do best and that's apply their superior intelligent to making their life as cushy as possible, you were given an unfair advantage over the other creatures so use it and don't cry over it.
Agreed. Fact we now NEED it, makes me hate it more. What I said was purely meant as an eye-opener, and was not meant literally.. I prefer to be clothed and live in a house too, hence why I said we do NEED money.. What I was pointing out though, is once upon a time life was real. Want food? Hunt it. And people cared for relationships more (and i don't mean couples.) Are you seriously suggesting that most western persons not giving a shit about what really matters in life (love, family, the true riches), is an advancement of intelligence? Speaks volumes that does. LOL.
