I know that protecting your affiliate links, you have a better shot at making sales due to the psychology of some people that don't like to see others get money from a sale. I have heard that it's possible for others to steal your affiliate sales if they are not protected. I guess it's better safe than sorry so I invested in Ninja Link Cloaker. I would recommend it. It actually does a pretty good job protecting the links for my site.
