How important is it for a website to be listed in Yahoo?

    We have so many big search engines such as gooogle.Is that important for a website to be listed in Yahoo search engine?

    Depends on your marketing budget, but for most websites, I don't think it's that important.

    Getting listed in Yahoo would also get your some traffic from the worlds number 2 search engine.

    Im not sure if you are talking about the Yahoo search or the Yahoo directory.

    Getting your site indexed by Yahoo search is very very easy. I get steady traffic from Yahoo, they are second to Google for me as far as my SE traffic goes

    I would say yahoo is runner up to google. I'd rather be listed in yahoo than msn, altavista, ask..and many of the other's. I've seen some good traffic from yahoo so yea, I would certainly say it's important to be listed! If you trigger the right keywords and rank high you would be surprised with the traffic yahoo can send you!

    have listed on Yahoo directory will be useful for more traffic on website...Yahoo also give a handsome traffic sometimes...

    Google, Yahoo! and MSN (Live). The three cheifs of the search industry, it is advantagious to be listed in either or all of these search engines, even if they only bring 1 extra visitor a day - that 1 visitor could be your customer ;). Think about it.
