We are doing additional research on the impact/benefit of the EPC metric to affiliates. Would love any feedback you may have on whether you use EPC to determine running a campaign and how much emphasis you place upon it. Thanks!
What matters to me is how much profit I make. (Which for you is not going to help anything... sorry) EPC doesn't really matter as much because most affiliate networks track clicks differently so while you may have a higher EPC at one place, you might make more profit at another simply because they track better (which would make your EPC lower) Commission doesn't matter, again it's how much profit. Conversion rate is the same thing...
As an AM I track EPC, Average order size and conversion. If all three are high then its a good indication that the site sells well.
