I was just thinking to myself you dont see many clickbank products out that give you a step by step print out guide you know like day 1 do this day 2 do that. How important and helpful do you think these kind of printable plans would be, it would benefit newbies as it would give them daily goals to achieve instead of reading all the information within any given ebook and not knowing where to start. I think that with many newbies they get overpowered by the amount of information that is given to them which is why the majority of people dont take any action after purchasing a make money online product, I know this was the case when I first started. I would like to hear your thoughts on this. Aaron.
Ok lets say for example it is a newbies guide to affiliate marketing and it is a jam packed pdf guide of say around 100 pages alot of information.

The "take you by the hand" approach is definitely effective IMO. Alot of these eBooks, especially from DP, only provide concepts, not actual step-by-step methods that people can immediately put to action. If you can stress this on your sales page, maybe that might help with your conversions. Maybe put a preview (screenshot or camtasia video) of your eBook, showing everyone how easy it is to follow, how it's layed out in clear steps, etc. This is all assuming you have a product and just asking for advice on the importance of step-by-step plans and whether or not they're effective. ^ Did you even read his post, lol? He's not looking for a guide of any sort, just opinions on step-by-step plans.
i find step by step guides to be very helpful. actually sticking to them is a bit of a task tho haha. hard to break routine (or no routine as the case may be).
I think nowadays videos work great, because each video is dedicated to discussing a specific part of doing "something". After a person watched the video, he/she can go do it, and then come back for the next one.
i think there could be some use for step-by-step plans ... the thing would be though, you would have so many different types of people to target - e.g. bummers vs PPCs, people using blogger etc vs people hosting their own domain, wordpress vs other cms's ... would be hard to create a product that fitted all beginners ... because usually most beginners have decided on what path they will take by the time they begin ... that's just my thoughts, I have no scientific evidence for this
