Hello DPz, CTR% is much important in Adsense and it works like backbone in your earning. I experienced this thing after getting banned three times in adsense program and then i learned how it is important for keeping your adsense account safe and secure with your earnings. I made my first account with adsense on August 2007 and i get banned from bt Google within one month. Then after two weeks i again made the second account and again i banned from Google after 3 months and i was much worried about what is happening with my account??? Then i consulted with one of my friend who was ready to get his 4th payment from Google adsense at that time. His first question to me was "what was your CTR%?????" I told him that it was 12.55% when i checked my account last time. Then he asked me the second question "What is the source of your traffic????" I told that i am getting it from Different search engines. Then he told me the conclusion that you get banned due to your CTR%. I was surprised that i never paid any attention to my CTR% ever. Then i made my third account and i kept a deep checking on my CTR% regarding adsense for content but didn't pay attention to my adsense for search CTR% and again i get banned but i got this experience that if CTR% goes out of limit then you will be get banned soon. I get banned third time for adsense for search CTR% increase after 20 days from increase. So from now on i can say that if your CTR% is out of limit and not in your control then get ready and prepare yourself for next new account from Google Adsense. On the other hand try your best to bring your CTR% down after getting more page views instead of clicks.
This is total bs. CTR has NOTHING to do with getting your adsense account banned. I've had sites that have averaged in the high 20 percent range for years without a problem. Follow the TOS and you can have a 50% CTR and not get banned. A ban is for a lifetime. After your first ban, you are automatically in violation of their TOS by creating another account.
its not true, no relation between ctr and earnings. what if there is 200% ctr and what if 0.1%, there is no difference in both.
ctr sometimes leads to be banned but dont forget the original source of banning is the invalid click and violationg google policy in your post you dont mention what is the ctr limit but you repeat and repeat it, show us what is the limit of ctr mate ?
