I never count the number of words used in a post, i cant write freely if im trying to reach a certain amount.

I just write, most of my posts are of substantial size, sometimes shorter but generally work out of a decent size.

I hate counting things like words, keywords etc, its crazy.

Just write, like Nike say, just do it.:)

Same here, sometimes i write blogposts around 20 words, and sometimes 100+ and sometimes way more. It depends on if i have something interesting to blog about.

It makes no difference how many words you write. I usually aim for a minimum 150 words per post.

It's important if you want the post to go high in SERPs. The more quality content the higher the page will rank for its targeted keywords.

This is why you will always find in-depth articles on a certain topic at the top of the rankings, and 100 word posts most of the time not even on the first page.

It depends on you. If you want to give overall information on particular topic to your readers then 100 to 300 words in a post is ok and if you want to give brief details on particular topic to your readers then 300 to 500-700 words in a post is ok.

    DON.

who would keyword and word count rofl, get yourself word write your post on word it will tell you how many words you used then to a ctrl+f and find your keyword and then hit next a few times and you can count them :)

I aim for atleat 300 words becuase i know that since my blogs on one of three things:
    Updates on free subdomain hosting
    SEO tips
    Marketing Tips

if im going under 200 words then what i have to say is 100% usless becuase that number of words cannot be useful to readers since it must, in theory, lack detail. I post no more than 700 words becuase people will get bored, if the post becomes around 700 words i make sure i inbound link to older posts throught to keep the reader there.

Seems to work blogs 34 days old since it became a blog site get around 50 uniques a day 11 subscribers but that goes up to 17 some days (somthing about using i.e as the feed medium?)

    so meh :p
