How important are having backlinks for SEO?? Should I pay for them?

I have had my Social network for about 8 month now. Its very useful for the members, but the only way they are finding out about it is through me advertising the site through Social media. I never really learned about SEO. I Searched what were the best Keywords to use with low competition. put in those metatags, but I don't believe it is enough. You need back links, but should I pay for them?? How common is it to pay for such things?? Thanks guys.

it's better if you have natural backlinks.

 

Backlinks are like the backbone of a site. Without having some quality backlinks your site can't get its targeted traffic and a good page rank. If you having access money and can't make backlinks ownself then you should outsource them.

Building links is the bread and butter of SEO. It is mostly boring robot like work so it is best to outsource this stuff. The rub is that until you've done a bunch of it yourself and ranked a few sites you have no idea what works or not. Good luck

 

On- page Vs Off-page

If you have a good on-page and a piece of perfect content you can rank #1 in google even with one back link BUT If someone with a peace of 80% of your quality yet he went on building a lot of backlinks he can over take you easily

naturally the site with better on-page stands to rank better than the one without on-page optimization given other things equal
So Big question what would you do

get a nice peace of seo competition analysis software and Analise on -page factors and backlinks of the top 10 of your keywords and what kind of page rank those backlinks are then decide do you need more backlinks to outrank the top 10 or you need to modify your on-page optimization or both and do at list 10 percent better IBP is nice peace of software

 

Backlinks are very important and I believe that networks are a decent way to go but i wouldn't just buy pay someone for backlinks or join a network i found just looking around google, i would like it to have been recommended to me by someone

 

With stores it is hard to have a ton of content without ruining the flow. I pretty much use backlinks, good meta seo and pray =)

 

Yea backlinks are the backbone to SEO, although good on page SEO reduces the quantity of backlinks you will need to rank and will keep your site ranked higher against the competitors sites longer as well . It is good to make your backlink building/purchase look natural. So if you want to buy backlinks I would purchase a high quality package or good PR backlinks that will effect your site rank and a cheap blog comment package that supplies a couple thousand not so quality backlinks. how important are backlinks? without backlinks, you will not rank for organic search results meaning no search engine free traffic for you. either you keep building backlinks to rank high for your search term so that yuo can enjoy the free traffic or keep paying for advertisement to drive traffic to your site. the choice is yours!

whether or not to pay for the backlinks is entirely up to you. if yuo have the knowledge and the time to do it yourself, then do it yourself. people who are serious online business owners don't waste their time chasing backlinks so they hire seo companies or individual seo consultants for link building. people who are new to IM tend to build their own links till they start making money.

 

If your time can be better spent somewhere else pay for the links. It can be very time cosuming.

Thanks again guys. I decided I will not pay for backlinks, I will just do them myself. Put some hard work into for a while and see how things pan out.
