    Article marketing used to be very effective. We don't use it any more today because spun content on the web is quite dangerous post-Penguin.

    I think, if kept in reason, it can still prove very beneficial to a site's initial exposure. But, as many have pointed out, Google is a stickler on dupe content. I post 1 article to 1 place and sometime hope it DOESN'T get picked up elsewhere.

    I think article marketing will work but you just have to hit the right keywords at the right time. I've had articles get good hits just from google picking it up
