How I went from 0 to $50/day in a few months...

I'd like to contribute to the forum by showing you exactly what I did in order to go from 0 list, 0 daily cash, and 0 clue what I was doing to making $50/day online in just a few short months...

Quite simply, I built an email list, but here's what I did to make money while doing so...

There is more to it than that though, and I'll share that here.

Obviously you'll need some tools:
1. An autoresponder
2. A squeeze page
3. A PDF, video, or audio to give away in exchange for an email address
4. A one time offer (how to make cash)
5. A safe -swaps account (optional)

To start from scratch was not easy, but it taught me alot about how email marketing works...

There are several routes you can take such as buying traffic or producing products, but I had no budget for those things, so I took the free traffic route.

1. I signed up at google alerts
2. I already had a profile and signature at a popular forum (WF)
3. I built a squeeze page giving away a PDF on traffic
4. I had a one time offer related to this PDF that I sold for $7 which was more traffic strategies
5. Once I had a list of 250 people (this took me about 3 weeks) I started contacting other marketers to do ad swaps.

Ad swaps
You can do these just about anywhere, but if you want to go the 100% legit route, I'd suggest using safe-swaps. I didn't start that way because it wasn't around until a few years ago.
The way I would find swap partners would be to contact other marketers who were emailing me and ask them. I would also review the Clickbank marketplace and contact product owners in my niche to see if they'd want to do an ad swap.

I did ad swaps for the next several weeks and built my list up to over 1500 people...

Next is where the money started adding up... I made a schedule!

Here it is...

Sunday AM - Ad swap
Sunday PM - promote a product
Monday AM - ad swap
Monday PM - blog post with some content for my list
Tuesday AM - promote product
Tuesday PM - promote AM product again
Wednesday AM - ad swap
Wednesday PM - promote new product
Thursday AM - ad swap
Thursday PM - promote a different product
Friday AM - ad swap
Friday PM - promote product from Thursday PM
Saturday AM - Weekend sale
Saturday PM - Weekend sale ending

For Saturday, what I would do is gather some PLR or do some interviews with other marketers, package it up in a PDF, and let them know that the weekend sale price is $7 and literally stick to it. ONLY allow people to buy it for 1 day (Saturday).

If you make sure to give value to your list up front (in the giveaway you use when they first sign up) then you should be able to promote products to them quickly as they'll see you as a trusted authority in the niche.

Now... here's probably something that alot of marketers won't tell you...

In order to promote products every day or every other day, you need to do it in a way that solves problems. So, instead of just emailing your list and saying, hey, check out this new product, you want to say something like this...

Hi,

I realize that you value your time (so do I) so I wanted to share this with you because I know it will help you (whatever the product is about, make money faster, get more traffic, use wordpress better, get more pay per click traffic, get more blog traffic, etc)

and then put your affiliate link

My main goal is to pick through all of the junk and only provide you with the best (whatever the product is about) products available... This one is definitely recommended, check it out now...

That is the exact schedule I use and it makes an average of $50/day.

Of course there are more advanced techniques to ramp this up and that is what I will be writing up to share in the days to come.

thanks to reveal your strategy and also I like it much because it is one that does not cost you anything to try. I also think evryone can do this it is not difficult nor is it time consuming but in the long run it is profitable.

Great strategy. Your point about not trying to sell every time an email is sent is on target. I usually also give away something to my list every few weeks. This encourages the opening of my emails.
