Listen. For somebody that dont know about the technique it is useful new stuff in that book. Game Producer, you did learn this stuff from somewhere too, right ? Chatmasta, he does tell how he did it. He only claim how to do it easier with the tool.

 

When I read this ebook, I was able to discover exactly how he received his visitors. He wrote about how other people do not use these sites to their potential, then he wrote, describing in detail, how he uses these sites for maximum potential.

Oh yeah...there was a list of social bookmarking sites in there, too.

Oh yeah...he did mention that if you wanted to use his method in a more time saving manner then you could buy his software to do that for you. But you could still use the method he actually does describe in this ebook without his software...it will just take you longer.

How much will the software cost? I'm interested because I like the method you actually did explain in your ebook and I also like saving time!

 

What about negative effects of "spamming" the social bookmarking sites?

I've had some smaller/test domains banned very quickly doing only social bookmarking in the past.

 

I think the ebook has some useful information. There's nothing wrong with sticking in a plug for a product that costs money since the ebook was free.

Okay, the negatives derived from "spamming" the bookmarking services, I feel, would just be that your account would be banned. If you're using the account to promote your sites purely, then it should be no problem to just make a new one.

These are just services and can only control what they own. Nothing more.

Well, I guess they won't mid too much if there's no negative affect on their service. But as soon as they start loosing they'll find ways to stop spamming. Coud be that they implement no-follow.

The more important question is how will the search engines react ot this? Will they discount/devalue links from social bookmark sites? Will they see it in a similar light as buying links?

Sure you'll still get the traffic but what's the point of that when the conversion rate is poor? Unless you want to sell the site of course

Remember, it's a free book so I don't get how you can call it "low quality". After all, isn't quality percieved value for the amount of money it cost? So if I've given it for free then your percieved quality must be pretty high for it to be "low quality"?

FREE ebook is a totally gratuitious plug/sales pitch for his product, but this is nothing new. You see it all the time on DP and elsewhere..nothing to get upset about imho. And i might add, you DON'T have to use his product. He does give you the list of SBM sites sorted by PR and says it's best to only hit a select few, so you could easily take what he wrote and DIY.

btw peeg...definately a well written sales pitch. One of the best I've seen. You have the structure and "call to action" all down. I think you have a really good future writting this kinda stuff.
