I'm using Wordpress and my blog is personal - meaning it does not strictly belong in any niche, though I do write about "niche-y" things occasionally like video-games. Whenever I write a post about something that is tangible and available on ebay (I do a check first), I place the AuctionAd code in the body of the post directly, targeting with the appropriate keywords. So far I've used them on posts about video-games, clubbing/dance music, and Korean/Japanese dramas(!). Even though I haven't made anything from this yet, I've gotten a few clicks which I'm happy about. It means that I'm using it and targeting it correctly. How do you use AuctionAds on your blogs? Would love to see your implementation.
I admit that auctionads get more clicks than normal banner/textual ads but they are just clicks. It's really hard to generate income since auctionads is a cpa based network. They also got tracking issues recently.
The tracking issues have been solved. As for it being more work than PPC, that's a given since it's affiliate marketing that we are doing with it.
