@ gtk99 - "You wrote so much but did not tell how really you achieved that goal. The things backlinks, traffic etc are known to everyone. " As I mentioned in the post, to increase traffic I added about 3-4 "supporting posts" to the blog each day. Each of these posts would then link back to the homepage for it's main keyword phrase. I then spun each of those posts with the best spinner, and submitted them to article directories, web 2.0 sites etc. I also did some blog commenting as well. Nothing fancy, just consistency. @Postedhere - "i almost believed you until i saw your signature... " I really couldn't care less if you believe me or not, all information is factual and easily verifiable. @tonytran - "never mind other holes in your story, the average income is 50 bucks a day, so say a month is at most 1.5 k, now you selling the site for 21k, close to 15 times its monthly earning." I'd be happy to fill in any of the "holes" in my story for you dear, just let me know what you'd like to know. These sites are actually quite easy to sell for 15X monthly earnings, in fact, I've gotten up to 18X recently. This is also verifiable since this sold on a Flippa auction. I'm sure it would be too hard for you to find this site if you searched. @jimmy.page "I think this is more of a flipping method than Adsense. I mean you're making $21K from selling your site, not from Adsense. Just my thought. " Yes this could also be a "flipping story", but the site did earn over a grand between July and September. The real reason I posted this hear was to show people that you can earn a great income with Adsense if you do all of the research. People, I'm here to offer help to anyone that wants it. I'm not claiming to be some sort of Guru or IM Genius, I'm simply sharing some of my Adsense successes with you. If you want to learn something, then post your questions If not, don't bother posting at all. -Adam
This sounds like a free taste but not really because you don't tell some details on how you reach that earnings.
I'd be happy to share the details with you, just let me know what areas you'd like me to go more in-depth on. -Adam
@apdfranklin I completely agree with you, I appreciate you. But man, there are many lames as you may see some of the posts here Thanks.
I don't doubt you can increase a site's earning if you know what you are looking for when buying a site. The only problem is there are too many people out there wanting to "teach" others and you really don't know who you can trust. Most gurus will say their system works and they want to "help" but they also squeeze money out of you to let you in on their secrets, which you may or may not already know.
@ asanka000 "then why did you sold your site?" Whether I keep a site or sell it depends on a lot of factors. In this case, I decided to sell the site because probably 40% of the site income depended on the #1 ranking for it's targeted keyword phrase. If it were to lose the top position in the rankings, the site income and value would drop quite a bit. Now if this were a site had many pages and was getting lots of traffic from many different keyword phrases, I would be much more inclined to keep it. @jesicamaiden - Thanks for the kind words! I've come to expect this kind of treatment. Very few people trust or believe anyone/anything anymore - fair enough I guess. @ audrey77 - "I don't doubt you can increase a site's earning if you know what you are looking for when buying a site. " That is very true - hard to trust people these days. What I can tell you is that there really isn't any "magic system". This stuff is really quite basic. Once you learn how to perform the keyword research and find profitable niches (it's really not hard!), then all you have to do is create content, build some backlinks (also not hard), and be consistent. @mubashirnisar - "nice sales pitch, another book seller" You guys do realize that every time you post these comments you bump this thread to the top right? So if you think I'm trying to push my product, you probably shouldn't bother posting these types of comments because you are giving the thread more exposure just sayn'...
Very interesting story and I believe you there is no doubt about it, but the point I'm most interested in is the CTR, because personally I've become used to stop optimizing my sites when I reach a CTR of 5% minimum, but you say you're used to optimize from 10 to 40% while still complying with adsense tos. This I'm very curious about because I would very much like to go from 5 to 10% or more that would pretty much mean doubling my current earnings at a minimum. So, if you're quite ready to help on this specific point by giving tips which are not too vague, that would be very useful to me at least. Thanks.
Great thread, it's always nice to see screenshots and hear success stories like that. Helps to motivate! Keep on balling, mate.
