    Manual is the best method but how much. Today you will create the backlinks and tomorrow it will be deleted where you will not come to check. As well when your server goes down ,the backlinks count as dropped. Try the permanent backlinks. Google it.

    I believe in manual submission only, automated submissions just dont cut it and the websites they submit to become out dated very fast.

    There is many tool or softwares.. use auto form fill software... this is good way to fast submission. but in my suggestion do Directory Submission Manually.

    You can use semi automated software like informenter, roboform etc. When you submit your site through fully automated directory submission software, your submission goes to spam folder in web directory sites, based upon their experience directory owner judge the thing and thats why you do not get approved backlink.
