$4.00 per day may not sound like much off the bat, but imagine if you did this for a year, 12 sites.

Thats approaching $20,000 a year....which in my opinion is massive.

So yes, while it may be a ton of work, at the end of the year of killing yourself, you got an extra 20Gs in the bank...and to maintain it the next year it wouldnt be NEARLY as much work.

Well worth it IMO.

 

SBrew, I suppose the amount derived from Adsense will also depend on the topics or high paying keywords?
What keyword did you target in your test site?

Yes, if you make a whole host of content, and obtain a couple of high PR and high traffic backlinks, you are going to grow. I set up a site only last month, with good unique articles, one high PR link back and it averages $3/day with only 50 uniques/day. Once I get this traffic up to 500/day, which is my first goal, the earnings should amount to around $30/day.

 

Sundaybrew has put his finger on the problem, which is not exactly how to make $ online (we all know building a nice website with content will bring $) but which is WORKING and for that one need to stop lingering around dp and what not forums and sites and build one's site!!!

i spend many hours daily in front of my computer screen yet out of those hours i spend very little building my sites...

people let's start working!!! ah shit

 

i read somewhere that if a page with pr5 or higher has 1 of your links that alone would give u a boost on search engines, is this right?
And SUNDAYBREW i think this is a top idea i will b trying this myself, not that i dont earn enough but i wanna earn more

I am running just a single page website with five or six text lines and ads....
and i m earning $ 45 dollars a day.

You know what to do - its that whole motivation thing - Its so easy just to sit here and click on post after post - you already know what to do - you just need to find the motivation to do it.

I'm a lack-of-motivation sufferer at times and have a little program with a timer on it to remind me to get back to real work - whatever works...

It also takes patience - I'm writing articles and watching the SEs index my content - getting backlinks - but its only been a few days, so its hard to wait for traffic to come. When you are putting up those new articles you just keep refreshing your analytics thinking wow - people are gonna flood in now - doesn't work that way. I need to start another site so I stop checking the stats on my current project every 10 minutes

 

I totaly agrea with you, I have a hard time getting the motivation to do work and seeing my cpc decreasing isnt helping me any.

also the patience thing as well, every time I update somthing or add a new page I'll be checking my stats so many times for the rest of that week waiting for the big increase in traffic or somthing but what I should do is use that time to create a new site or more content.

I'd just like to thank you again sundaybrew I have finaly updated some of my site content that I have been putting off and also started working on content for a new site that I have been wanting to start for a while. I was having a lot of trouble coming up with content before but now it just seems to be pooring out haha.

Sundaybrew makes an excellent post. That initial 6hours of work will pay you dividends for a long time. You may have to do it again a few months down the road but if you do it sitting on the beach sipping a cool drink..........

Repeat his process 30 or 40 times and you don't need to punch the clock...wasn't that an elvis costello album??

 

yes and imagine this... you can take that $4 a day. And pay someone to write a new article for you. Imaging how big your site would be if you put up a new article on your subject everyday just using that $4 a day! Thats what I'm in the process of doing.

Sounds good! But if it takes me 6 hours to write stuff that will only make me $4 a day then it's not really worth it, sounds like you spend more than you make
