Yeh, good job, and thanks for detailing how you did it.
You've got the visitors, now you need to make the cash! With 1800 visitors daily you should be able to make far more than $95 a month. However if most of your traffic is from social networks then that could be the problem. Traffic from these sources are notorious for not clicking on ads. They usually quickly read the one article and leave. Maybe try out some different affiliate programmes that are related to your site in order to raise revenue, and keep experimenting with the ad layouts 'cos I'm sure you could be earning a lot more. Maybe I was not scrolling many... or you had removed adsense?

Adsense I am currently placing not on index pages, but inside sub-section pages only. I do not want my visitor to leave from home page.
Yes, the entire site is in PHP and I have spent over two years learning PHP on my own. I am planning to add some aspx coded pages in a few days, just to see how google reacts to them.

 

I post an article only when I am coming up with a new section / sub-section. That's like every 2-3 days.
Yes, all articles are entirely written by me.
No CMS, all hand coded in PHP.

Current monthly stats:

* 447,285 Pageviews

* 286,751 Unique Views

* 46.61% Bounce Rate

Alexa: 103,422 (Just 3,422 more to go, then I am in top 100,000. Waiting eagerly for that!)
