How I plan to make $900 in 30 days

I am a noob to this whole internet thing, but since joining DP (lol, “dp”, feel uneasy with that term) I have been inspired by how well some of you do. There are some people here who are making $100k + a year, just goes to show that if you want something real bad and are willing to put the work in, everyone can be successful.

So that being said I set myself a small challenge to make $900 within 30 days, here how I plan to do it:

    1. Filesonic Affiliate:
First Step: I have joined filesonic uploaded a lot of files and have started posting them on forums, so far I have managed to post about 100 files on different forums and still have a further 300+. Some of my files are rather hard to find online so should be selling a few premium accounts to people who want to download them. So far downloads have been coming in thick and fast so I should be able to make some money from people buying the premium service.

Reason: I choose to go with filesonic because I think they are the best out there and they pay well and quick. Plus this is a business I seriously considering to start up, so it should be a good experience to work out how they make their money.

    Investment: $9 membership

Income Expectations: My hope is that with my downloads I should be able to sell a minimum of 20 premium memberships, which at the going pay rate should earn me a minimum of $200

Please click on my referral link below if you are thinking of joining filesonic:

    http://www.filesonic.com/premium-ref/971455

    2. Clickbank:

First Step: Joined clickbank a couple of days ago, cant believe I had never heard of it until last week, already picked a product to promote to my mailing list.

Reason: huge percentages they offer, could make a killing here.

    Investment: $0

Income Expectations: I have a mailing list of about 180,000 people, did my first mailout yesterday but its taking my server some time to send them all. But I have sold 2 ebooks so far. I am hoping to make about $200 or more within 30 days.

    3. Offeta:

First Step: A new type of auction that I found about 2 weeks ago and liked their pay to refer a friend program. Basically you get paid for anyone who joins the site using your unique link but also get paid for the people who you invited invite. So I get 40% for primary invitations and 10% for secondary invitations every month.

Reason: its recurring so I get paid every month, plus the secondary invitation process is quite exciting.

    Investment: about $7 membership

Income Expectations: Well I told my girlfriend to send my link to her friends on facebook, (she has just under 200 friends). Its been less than 12 hours, so far I have had 26 clicks and 3 signups and have earned about $12 primary and $1 secondary. So with social networking and mass mailouts I am hoping to signup at least 50 people in the next 30 days which should net me about $200 monthly primary, secondary earning is not something I can predict.

Please click on my referral link below if you are thinking of joining

    4. Millioniare Cycle:

First Step: Just signed up to the website now, it says for $25 you can start your way to becoming a millionaire. Lol, don’t really believe that but $25 is not much so will give it a try.

Reason: Who doesn’t want to be a millionaire :D

    Investment: $25

Income Expectations: Well a million would be nice but that’s not going to happen, if for the investment of $25 I can make at least $300, I would be very happy. So my expectations here would be about $300

…..so there you have it $900 in 30 days, easier said than done but will give it my best shot.

It appears that you believe that by signing up for multiple "do-it-yourself" sites...and by simply mailing out 'stuff' to your 180M mailing list[?]....you will earn money. It's slightly more difficult than that...those companies make their money from guys like you signing up for $7 , !0. 15, or $25. Many have tried this tack before you and the results are noted all over the internet...just Google any of those companies and read the legitimate reviews.
Sorry, mate - it just ain't goin' to happen the way you planned.
    From experience,

Thanks for your input, appreciate it, like I said I am not experienced at all but want to give it a try to see for myself. So far, I have invested approximately $41

    1. $9
    2. $0
    3. $7
    4. $25

    So far I have made:

    1. $10
    2. $19.92
    3. $13
    4. $0

Not bad considering I started only yesterday. I know making money is a tough gig, this is a learning process for me. :)

To make money consistently and reliably on the internet, you need to start with something of value that other people will pay for - even if it's only a click.
You can add value in many ways, even without your own products, by writing reviews etc.
Just joining the hordes of people buying into automated copy and click systems promising to make you a living wage, is likely to leave you disappointed.
The worst thing is that you have no control over what happens - and any one of many people or systems in your chain can and probably will stop any income you build instantly, if not sooner then later.

Hey OP, I like your spirit, but there are things I disagree:

Filesonic - It is not easy to sell premium, you must use "trick" so people buy the premium which I already wrote in my ebook.

Clickbank - The "mailing list" is not working that way. You can't spam 180.000 people. Clickbank products is not easy to convert, if you want to spam, spam with porn offers, it is easier to convert, and the whole method of "mailing list" is building relationship with people in your list so you can sell to them over and over. Also, you can't send random offer. You must send based on the niche, for example, you can't send promotion of "Blogging to the Bank" to people in weight loss niche.

Offeta and Millioniare Cycle - never heard of them

at least he has a plan, and hes being methodical about it. I find it refreshing, although it might just be a really well disguised sales pitch

I suggest you go in to a short an intense training so you could start with an option to continue. A lot of new affiliate start by making a few dollars, the problem is that without even basic knowledge they either stay with that few dollars or eventually loose. I agree with Byronc, at least you have a plan and you being methodic about it, thats very important in our world. I wish you all the best and invite you to ask all the questions you have, i'll be sure to try and help you.

Thanks guys, really appreciate you comments. Revenue is only up slightly from last time, what I have noticed is that you should not email people more than once in a week as a lot of them will click on the “unsubscribe” button. Lol, I learnt my lesson on that one.

Making money on the internet is far from easy, I am not a fool I know I cannot just walk in and start making money like some of you guys. I am finding out that those of you who make a living online have your ways and yes, you guys are right its just not a case of mailing a lot of people but I am learning.

The file hosting business is what fascinates me the most about online businesses, filesonic especially. If I were to go into business this is what I would do, but the problem with these companies is you cannot workout their revenue or profits. Difficult to start a business if you cannot get access to competitors’ financials.

@ mave863, I would really like to read that ebook.

you're going on a well planned way. Pretty interesting. But I personally don't like to invest money on online business at the beginning because there's a very few possibility of profit returning. I started my journey with blogging, then adsense, affiliate and now Its take place to invest money online.
Whatever your planning is well appreciating and I wish that you'll fulfill your expectations.

wiswman.wiseman05 - Your insite about returning prophit online is an intresting one, but i'm forced not to agree with you. I think the online world is very lucrative, as i'm sure that a lot of people will agree. The most attractive thing about the World Wide Web is the fact that you are open to the widest costumer range and demographics without investing the vast amount of money you would in an offline businnes.

Sorry for the long post fellas:

Ok, so far so good, I have managed to make over 100% of my initial investment, which is not much to be honest, certainly not enough to keep body and soul together. The whole journey is rather fulfilling to say the least, not the money but the knowledge one acquires. To you guys who make a living online, I sincerely take off my hat to you. Majority of people before venturing into this form of venture think its easy, IT IS NOT, not by a long shot. Now I know why everyone jumped on the dot com bandwagon during the early days. Just to give an example, I was having a discussion with an acquaintance yesterday, he had spent $80,000 building a social network site that he says would compete with facebook, it went something like this:

Me: so you think you can compete with facebook because you spent 80 grand?

Him: Sure, do you know how many new people join the internet each day?! Listen facebook has 400 million users but there are 6 billion on earth, there is room for growth!

Me: so, you really BELIVE you can compete with facebook?

Him: Yes, all I need to do is to spend $1 million on advertising and I will have 10 million users in 6 months and I would be making $10,000 a day in advertising revenue.

Me: Good luck with that mate and may the lord be with you.

To me and I expect most, the internet looks like the “promise land” full of milk and honey, easy to make money. However only after you arrive at the so-called promise land are you told that you have to wrestle that 80-ton cow to get the milk and as far as the honey is concern its in that dark and wet cave, yes, the one full of killer bees. It takes skill to make money online and as a noob I will gladly take my place at the bottom of the ladder and learn. Any help you guys can throw my way would be much appreciated.

@ wiseman, cheers mate, appreciate your comments.

@ mave863, still waiting to read that book :)

P.S. Just saw a banner ad here, Cupid paying up to $110 per signup?! This noob will investigate and probably signup :D

There's so called affiliates companies doing $100,000 a day online. But you'll never hear of them because they don't need to position themsleves as a Guru and sell over priced info products, so they can send their kids to private school. You really have to be a gypsy to sell yourself on the internet lol.

If you have a list of 180,000 people why the hell are you promoting other peoples stuff on CB?

What niche is that list in?

You should NOT be mailing those people random clickbank products. You should be JVing with people who KNOW you are mailing and then they should be reciprocating for you do your launch. And yes, you should be creating a product for a launch NOW if you have 180K in your list.

Your list is HUGE leverage for JV partners.
