Poker chips is your niche? But what are you trying to advertise? Give me something hard.

I sell advertsing on my poker chips forum. Poker Chips are the "topic" discussed on my forum. Like coin colelcting, but poker chips. Also people who PLAY poker talk about the best products to play poker with.

OK, well to attract people to your forum using youtube you'd want to make a video with people playing poker. Emphesise the use of the chips by showing people scooping up chips when they win. You might want to rip some world poker games off youtube and get the commentry. People LOVE hearing the commentators going "OH AND HE WINS THE MILLION DOLLARS" or somthing like that, so include that too.

Either have your forums logo or the URL appear at the start of the video so that you get it out there. Also have it in the main title (don't put it in bold and don't keep the logo on the screen for too long or else it'll look spammy).

This method works, you might have to make multiple videos...and be sneaky it you can, put a title like "Streaker ruins poker game!!!" or something...attract attention :):)

Best program is Sony Vegas 6, 7 or 8 in my opinion. I might also get stuck into Adobe AfterEffects as well :)
