    posting good content
    getting qualitative backlinks
    submitting to DMOZ

    1: Good, quality, interesting content
    2: Try building links : find some good blog directories, try social bookmarking, visit other blogs and make some comments (don't forget to put link to your blog - it's called back link)
    3: look at 2, than again at 1, than again, and again......
    4: after few months look at statistics, is your work giving a good results? If no, try 1 and 2 point :)
