5 on my tab ... but that's not the only experience gaining market . There's also : designing , coding , content writing , affiliating ... etc.
part of the reason adsense is paying so little right now is the economy.advertisers are cutting down on their budgets and bidding less for keywords.it will pick back up though when economy gets better.
the next reason would be the really big price for some of the keywords ( some of them are 4$ per click - insane ) , so people choose other keywords at adwords and spend less money... plus the psychological "crisis" could be a factor
I've written a review on my blog about eTorro ... it's a diferent theme (pay per signup) but it's a good example to make people work harder - Contests . This is a solution used by lots of affiliates but seems google feels as being over it ... too bad
Although I may be wrong ... imagine who would win .. same every month the unestablished websites wouldn't have a chance .. it would be discouraging . Maybe another tactic would work : - increase adsense payoffs per click if impressions higher than XXXX . That would be perfect... - not for the lulz and also encouraging
I'm sure there were loads of staff at both just waiting to penalize your site, which they had probably never even heard of.
you love Google when it brings fortune to your wallet and hate it when disaster came. i believe that hate is a word too strong to use. but that is your prerogative. Google rules. we are not as big as google. we just have bend down on those who rule over us. our fortune is anchored on Google's existence.
Alexa rank is fun to look at, that's about it, right now i'm sitting at 16,001... A month ago I was 12,234 but my traffic has increased by 2k uniques daily in the last 2 months... so what's happening? People are installing google chrome... toolbar stats are not reliable.
Alexa is weak and totally ineffective, one of my sites gets around 100 UV a day and it's ranked at 9 million while another gets 10 and I'm sub 1 million.
Alexa may not have updated.. But your traffic stats are real. Just because your Alexa rank changed, it doesn't mean you'll suddenly see a huge increase of traffic. But hey, live and learn. Luckily it was only $90 that you "lost" and not $9000. You can't lose something that was never yours
PR is not a measure of site quality or traffic. It's useless other than for pimping links. In any case, there's other ways to get traffic than Google.
Alexa really s..k. me too i hate it. It really not recommended , but i didn't expect that from Google which really rocks. Maybe there is a problem with your backlinks..
It's not yours when you wouldn't have gained it if you did the same you've done you haven't had it. sounds crazy .. but what i mean is : If I waited 2 days it would have been mine , so technically - I sold alexa too... 30$ is enought to receive a 230$ voucher at yahoo marketing ... which I have . Or 3 domains ... everything counts.
about traffic : I was referred to this traffic service website ... it is really cheap and offers lots of different services.. i've written it on my blog so read detailed there .. don't want copy it danielfive.com
Also a good tip : Why doesn't anyone make a open ranking project ... which would declare what you need for one or another rank update...
