I'm not doing PPC, but I think you could try writing a complaint to your web hosting provider (even if I doubt they will refund that).

BTW, can we know who is your web host and how long did the downtine last?

 

Hivelocity. It was down for around 8 hours.

It's happened before and they refused to give me any credits or discounts off the next month.

I plan on moving my servers to a new place once I find a good deal.

 

Check host gator.They are great for me.You can't beat 24/7 live support, not that you will need it,but you feel more secure.They should pay me for this.
Also,they will lead you step by step how to transfer your sites without any down time between the transfers.

 

complain to the host, they might offer free hosting in exchange

EDIT: They have a pretty good enterprise level server but it is pretty pricey compared to some others I've seen. Thanks.
