    Hello,

I created a moneybooker account about 4 months ago. Well yesterday someone was refunding me for a purchase I made earlier, and they were refunding me with moneybookers. Well I get the $430, and then decide to start shopping. Then I get to the page where you have to enter your birth date, I entered my real birthdate, but didn't go through. Then I realized that when I joined, I most likely put in a fake one to fit age requirements. After several more trys, the account got locked.

    $430 down the drain.

Serves you right for using fake details ;) [Unless you have your reasons.] Moneybookers have never been a problem for me.

DONT PANIC!!! I had the same problem, I was 17 and used an other birth date aswell.

Just open a support ticket or mail them or something and say that you did put the information accidental wrong.

They will then ask you to upload or fax your ID (passport, driving license) and then confirm your real birth date and you will get access to all moneybookers money :)

    have fun

PS: I wasnt 18 at that time so I photoshopped my birthdate, I did that with MoneyBookers, PayPal and all other companies without problem ;)

you just need to know the system

MB are scammers, I put real info and I have sent all ID documents, but they locked my account and refunded only part of money. I lost about $500.

Why did they lock your account in the first place?

I lost $250+ in MB coz they locked my account, although I have sent a proff of my doc and call them, until now they have not unlocked my account. For Richuser, I think you can call MB customer service for resolve your problem, but I dont think MB will unlocked your acc. But, I hope your acc unlocked. Good Luck...:)

That is awful man. Thats why i don't handle that much money online. And if I ever use a fake birthday I sue the easiest one and I sue the same one for all ones I have ever done. Jan 1 1980 :p But now I ahve reached the age limits for almost all sites so no point of it anymore.
