    If you are good at writing, than write articles with your keywords in title and in content. Then, submit to only "top article directories", like Ezine and Articlesbase. You will not only get backlinks from this way, but you will also get traffic for your website.

    I would also suggest for Social Bookmarking, Press Release, Forum Posting and Blog Commenting. This helps more and gives fast results.

Doing social book marking, forum posting, blog commenting helps you to get quality backlinks and at the same time they increase your site traffic for your targeted keywords. Article submission, press releases, blog commenting, etc brings in huge visitors to your site. To attract visitors through these ways excellent content writing skill is required.

    For Keywords Popularity there are many off page method and these are effective Directory Submission, Article Submission, Social Bookmarking, Forum Posting, Blog comment, Press reslise, Yahoo answer, blog post etc all the above said method wil give you back link as well keywords popularity
