Can't see how it can help him to get better ranks.

Based on what I've seen backlinks with your keywords are VERY helpful.

Yeah I agree with you.. Submitting your URL to Bing or Google or Yahoo wont directly improve the rankings cos you have to make SEO on that...

 

Will it be anything different for SEO, now, when Microsoft and Yahoo joined their search engines?

 

bing pays more attention to the onsite factors. If you work on those this should help you achieve a little better results.

 

post quality content to your blog so that other big blogs link to you and you may get higher rankings in not only bing but also other search engines!

 

I 've found that Bing and Google are very simialar in many ways!.

Stick to the ground rules and you should be safe.

 

Quality content and plenty of backlinks should help do the trick.

If you are working with a blog powered by wordpress, when posting change the permilink.

Title of post: Bing sores through the internet

Normal permilink: bing-sores-through-internet

Change it to: bing-sores-through-internet-top10-article

Or something along the lines of that. That way, your links will tend to show up for more results.

I'm pondering on that issue also for a few days, especially since my main keyword is on Google's 1st page and on Bing no where near (I stopped looking after the 5th page!)
So there IS a difference, the question is what, and how to SEO better to fit all search engines (don't forget Yahoo...).

Does anyone else see a Hugh difference in his ranking?

 

I think you should make many links...............

 

have a good meta tags and submit the URL to bing. Note that bing is quiet slow in indexing as compare to Google. so you need to be little patient here.

 

I think more quality backlink + quality contents will do.
