Wanna know how i did it??? 1 word, Craigslist. All i had was 1 craigslist back link and amazingly i at the top of google search results. What i did? I went on craigslist and did an extremely search engine friendly post. you are allowed to use a certain amount of html in a craigslist posting so i made the most of it. I added <h1> tags <a href tags and and within 2 days, My craigslist posting was 4th in the search engine rankings. Since you posted a link on craigslist about your website, google will index it quicker, and when google realizes there is a link on the craigslist posting, they will put the linked url above the craigslist posting. The posting cannot be spam though and you will have to write a 100 to 200 word post. But the traffic will come after that trust me. Dont just post your url and thats it. Sorry bro it just doesn't work like that. Your site is appearing on the second page of google's results and FYI although craigslist does allow for a link, the link is nofollow'd and won't pass much rank/juice if any at all. You are much better off at not spamming craigslist and just submitting a quality article to an article directory.
