    This method only get the website into yahoo but not the yahoo directory.

    And also getting top rank need other SEO tactics.

    Anyway, this is still a good method to have new website being listed in yahoo.

    I'm not sure it's the best buy for $299 .. it makes little to no difference in Yahoo rankings and if PR is the only reason, then there are much cheaper options out there.

    okay i am stupid...

    In the instruction it says:
    .....
    - Select all the services to ping (of which My Yahoo! is one) and click the 'Submit Pings' button.
    - Navigate back to your My Yahoo! account and refresh your browser.
    - Scroll to the bottom of the page where you'll see your blog's feed appearing.

    I did everything(at least thats what i thought) but when i refresh my Yahoo I dont see my feed. Does it mean I did something wrong?

    Noticing people are using Wordpress with their blogs. When it comes to pings and setting it up on your own server, is Wordpress the way to go or are there other recommendations?

    I like both movable type and wordpress. They both have their advantages. Movable Type is a little bit cleaner of an interface, and they have a free version - but they also have paid versions. The wordpress community is a little more helpful IMO, but with MT you can get support.

    Well, only my main page is indexed with yahoo, but Im rated a lot higher in the serps than i would have expected (48 hours later) Hopfully ill get a deep crawl here soon.
