    I got hit by 1500 visitors on the second day of my sushi site launch.
    overall 3500 visitors next 3 days, then it went low again.
    I wonder what exactly caused it.

    If u purchase traffic from any sites it can be only some kind of spam traffic.So go for natural traffic.

    Actually, 90% of current blogs have the nofollow attribute for user comments, so unless you plan on having direct traffic they're not much good for SEO.

    BTW, how's the site doing now? How many visitors per day do you get now?
