A few people might know that I launched a new online marketing & SEO blog just over a week ago. I just posted the stats for week one with details of where all the traffic came from, all 31,000 visitors. Yahoo is showing 4000 incoming links to the site as well. Over the next few weeks I will be posting in a bit more detail about how I got this traffic along with tips for anybody who wants more traffic. How did you get on TechCrunch? Did you have to email them about your website or did they just happen to find out? I am sure the story on TechCrunch had everything to do with your success. I hope you can keep it up from now on. Cheers!
Ya that is nice. I need to do some research on Stumble Upon as well to see how that helped. Digg or Tech Crunch will definitely do it up. Question is: how much cash will that bank ya?
I emailed a few well known sites and explained that the site was launching. TechCrunch emailed back to say it was cool and then wrote a post about it. Its not banking any cash until we get some high paying advertisers.
