I've read many blog posts on how to increase subscribers and implemented but no results.(i've 1000+ uniqies in first week of ma new blog but 10 subscribers only)(feeds are full and i use all onsite methods to give exposure to feeds) But i want a practical method may be advertising ma feeds over some other blog or any other way,pls advice. thanx for compliments..that's terafirma theme... i'm getting min 300-400 PVs and 250 uvs for each post from stumble upon...besides stumble upon i get 30 uvs from other sources...but i don't find any way to convert visitors to feed subscriber
I've ran my own contest and got a few decent subscriber. Same cash prize amount like what you intended to do. Not much of impact but it do create awareness about your site. I discover that sometimes its not really a blog issue. People just like to read and dont even know what 'feed subscribing' is. Seriously! Cheers! Most people don't really like that bcoz it give some bad impression on the transparency of the contest itself.. .. Just my 5 cent worth of opinion. WSGWD is what would seth godin do a wordpress plugin where you can set to place a bit of html saying please subscribe to my feed to all new visitors of your site.
