Get more links on the outside of the site, linking to your site and its inner pages. Google finds sites through links on other sites. The more links are up the more times Google can find you. My site is a forum so we always have fresh content. The issue with us and most other forums is the quality of that content can be crappy if people make crappy posts, but often it is great, depending on the posts made. I keep the guides and instructional posts and threads in upper boards and tweet them sometimes to make those more visible.
