I do agree that adwords is the BEST option for generating traffic in our website but everyone can't afford it at the start.Best thing that can be done to generate traffic in our website are:- Use social plugins (Share your stuffs in most of the social networking sites)- Keep some competition or promotion offers which can drive lot of traffics to your website (Here its not necessary that we have to pay a huge amount on gift even some cool stuffs which can be purchased at a much cheaper price can be given as gifts)- Find the hub wherein your target members might meet and actively participate in discussions in there (Dont SPAM to promote your site)- Finally SEO is most important too... so work on it!!!Hope this helps

 

Yes google adword brings a lot of traffic if we have good knowledge to find quality score, Click rate, daily budget. If it looks expensive, we can simply creating links by submitting blogs, articles, forums, directory to build hyperlink to our keywords. Or we can use social media like facebook, twitter, tumblr, digg etc to bring real traffic.
