Fiverr is full of thousands of low quality, sometimes dangerous to use, really crappy gigs. But I've found that there are some worthy Fiverr gigs once I spend some time searching around. Forget highest rated/most popular gigs. The most popular gigs on Fiverr are almost always aggressive link spam. Might be useful for tier2/tier3 links, but most of us are shooting for higher quality stuff now. I say, forget about sorting your gigs by highest rated first. Most of those aren't the types of gigs you should be purchasing. Fiverr has a search box, I say, forget the categories. As someone experienced with IM, you should know what keywords to search to find high quality gigs, or at least I'd hope so. I search things on Fiverr all the time. Here's some examples: "manual submission" - manual is always better. (this can be searched for all types of links) "explainer video" - high quality explainer videos are well worth the money. "unique accounts" - find link building gigs that actually provide unique accounts. ^ This is endless. If you can think of good keywords to search, you can find really high quality gigs. Good post. For what it's worth.. I've spent my time on Fiverr. I've provided gigs, and also bought a lot of gigs. Here's my take on Fiverr.. Yes. There are some VERY valuable services you can get for dirt cheap. But the real question is; what do you need? Don't buy a Fiverr gig just for the "hell of it". Buy a Fiverr gig if your business requires something. Maybe you require some articles written, a squeeze page installed, or some voiceovers? When you actually need something, then Fiverr is worth its weight in gold.
I have used Fiverr services and have not had a complaint with any of the services I have used. It really does depend what you are looking for. I get my ebook cover done there and have been happy each time.
If you're looking for the best in Commercials, Testimonials and App Promotion, check out fiverr.com/givemeapps There are some awesome artists and talent on there. Also look up Kymmypops!
well , I have a medium experience on fiverr gigs, one thing I can say: DON'T use fiverr for linkbuilding, just don't, and yeah maybe It worked for you once, or twice, but It'll never work again
Try to buy gigs that seems real. For example if you wan to buy "likes" dont buy the million likes for $5 dollars. Buy the one that says 120 likes or 80 likes for $5 dollars. Also for articles is fine too. You can find good writers. Look that they are english natives and you can check if they have pending Jobs. If they have some gigs pending at least for me that means that they are getting hired because they are good. Also look the reviews and the pending gigs.
Any website traffic gigs on fiverr are worthless. Just sayin'! Tried it. All of them are worthless. Don't waste your time on them.
Finding the good ones on Fiverr is difficult, but it can be worth it. Of course, in many cases with the gig extras and those type of details it will end up costing as much as it would be to hire someone from eLance or another site anyway. Michael
This sounds like a really helpful post for those looking into finding opportunities at Fiverr. I don't use it so it's really not for me, but I certainly enjoyed reading it. One thing I would like to add is to make sure that every project is completed successfully and quality must be a priority. Once you find a buyer/client for your services, it is important to know how to retain him as a repeating customer.
Use better micro job sites... there are better, high quality sites like https://www.seoclerks.com/ or http://gigbucks.com and http://MyCheapJobs.com
Have heard a lot about seoclerks. Never tried it though. Actually fiverr is known of and spoken of more often and like everywhere else it's a classic case of out of sight and out of mind.
I always try to get a recommendation from someone reliable. Not always easy. However you can start to build a portfolio of successful or recommended providers. So don't just use and forget, keep a log of your experience with all outsourcers for all types of work.
This is a awesome gig to make your friends surprised. I just ordered it. http://fiverr.com/service_for_you/design-13-photos-of-you-with-celebrities
Check the others user ratings for verifying about any service. Fiverr SEO is doing better for small project
I agree! If you are to build your links, do it through other means, but not Fiverr. Unless you want to waste your money.
