I've only made about ~50c so far in about 3 weeks, first started with a website/forum but couldn't afford to pay for hosting. Now I've started blogging my ideas - I have a few articles with pretty good content but just can't seem to bring in the traffic. Tried reciprocals, directories, forum sig links. I guess I just have to write more stuff?
social net work and posts being written by one some one is a bit difficult task and need a lot of optimization as well as making that forum successful is big task than running a individual blog is easy task for me.
You didn't ask me, but here is the plan I followed basically... 1) post every day 2) post small posts - 250-500 words... 3) link to other posts 4) comment on other blogs. 5) Be in a niche where you can get to the top 10 pretty quickly... 6) moved my adsense units around to see the configuration that worked the best. I ain't but to 5-6 bucks a day adsense, but I began selling other stuff as well... Worked for me...
