    There are several web directory lists out there...just search this forum. In addition, you can go to google and search for "your niche" and "directory" to find more.

    Absolutely correct, and if you want area specific directory list then mention that in your searching keywords.

    While Searching the Relevant Directories you can use the following text for the search, Type " your Keyword" + add site in the Search Box

    The most easier way, using yahoo site explorer to trace their backlinks. From there, you will know they make submission to which directories. It is effective to reduce research work.

    Of course, if you just follow their link you might not able to rank higher than them.....so you need to find your niche too.

    Use your keyword as "name your niche + directory".
    eg. "Web Design Directory" , "world hotel directory" etc.

    Google is the best place to search niche specific directories and you will also get top rank listings based on your geographic location.
