    I have never used YABB, But i would assume it would need to be placed in the template files.

    never used a yabb but its in the php or template files just do trial and error in any of them. :p

    BTW did you get it to work now as I now see ads.

    Below you can see how I put in ads and text in a yabb forum. Go to the admin area click template and make changes there make sure you save the current file then tweak it from there. go here to see the finished product
