hello. i just have the quarry regarding Google penalized or not and some body told me that old domain is hard to be rank as compare new site...is that so..?
A website that is viewable in Google search results one day and de-indexed the next day for all keywords and domain name. Message in your Google dashboard notifying you of a penalty. Drop in search results from first page to the 6th page for a prolonged period, such as for 2 weeks and more. Penalised for various reasons lead to Google giving out sanctions. Climbing Google search results takes time, and trial and error. Just my 2c.
Should have added to answer the question! A new domain has not built up trust with Google search engine and hence tends to be harder to rank that an established website domain such a 1-2 years old. Took 12 weeks for my keyword search to show up in the search results for a new website. My mistake with my first post.

site:www.yoursite.com, post this query in google, if no results returns then your site is penalized and de-indexed from google. and to check when and for what your website is penalized, always keep updates of google.., along with google analytics. For exp: if your website was hit by a penguin update, but you aren't aware of this update..., then follow this steps 1. Go to Google Analytics 2. Check when there is sudden traffic is down? 3. Find the date range and analyze them 4. Check whether there are any updates down from Google within the date range where your traffic is down? 5. If yes then, you were hit by Google update, if not there might be some issue with your website (check for google webmaster tools for this) 6. get conclusion 7. resolve or rectify those issues.
