Google doesn’t show all the links to a site.

    Webmaster tools works better.

    Thanks Brian

Backlinkwatch is good, but I would personally recommend using Yahoo Site Explorer tools. This will give you the best ideas of what links your receiving "juice" for from Google and Yahoo. Webmaster tools can take a really long time to update and will never show all your backlinks.

I tend to use a variety of tools to check my backlinks as some tools will give varied results compared to others so it pays to be consistent with the backlink checker you use to monitor your websites backlinks.

Backlinkwatch is always a favorite for many people. Simplistic, yet understandable results.

http://marketleap.com used to have a wonderful set of tools to do this and more. Wonder what ever happened to them? Site is alive, but links are dead.

You could do it the old fashioned way and look at your favorite SE's and type "link:sitename.com"
