Use digpagerank.com to check the status. Also iwebtool will give the current PR.

Is it easy to tell once the update is completed?

I don't really think so. It's not like google posts it somewhere that updating is complete and if you were left out to keep being a good little SEOer and stay working for the next "quarterlyish" update

True. If it does not change within the next few days then probably you have missed out on this update cycle.

What you can also do is log in to the Google account control panel and see how well your site is doing in terms of PR. I had written a post about it on my blog. That may help. The link is here.

yeah i agree too, you need to wait because there are many things happening now a days with PR, some sites having PR6 are now displaying as PR0 etc, Wait until Google finish the PR update

LOL....You are sooooo harsh. But the update is far from over. His site may not be updated yet. Not forgetting there are millions or billions of web sites to be updated for PR. It takes time.

    Malcolm,

There are several of my sites that have only just started to spread the new PR to other dc's. Just because your sites have been completed does not mean everyone's have.

The last update took around 4 weeks to finish.

    Col :)

Yep it didn`t finish yet for all sites, I still have a site with PR for the inner pages and 0 for the site itself.

There is a geographical demographics to consider, like for over 13 days now the internet has been an intermittent internet connection in many areas of Asia and beyond after the Taiwan earthquake in which underwater data cables were severed

I think (although we are not the experts) how can Data Centers Update when large areas of Asia do not have 100% internet uptime

An opinion yes! but many people in Asia think the same

But as we have not been able to open more than 1 Browser per PC without an internet outage we think that it will have been difficult for G to update

In fact up to 2 days ago access to G was difficult to say the least

I consider that in Asia where many sites are hosted and where many Data Centers are located that the G Update has a long way to go to complete the process

Maybe it fished and front pages didn't get PageRank after all!
I'm having the same problem too.

    I just did....

and sorry not trying to be harsh on anyone but thats the way google is. My adult connect directory didnt get shit this update i have to move on and work on the others as well,as im not going to sit and get mad about it, as i wont make any money like that. :D

Concentrate on getting more quality links with high PR as well as relevent content and in 3 months ill be watching you post about your pr5-6-7 site ;)

    thx
