how i can increase my site ranking on google?

any suggestion on how i can increase my site ranking on googlecom. and why my site is not listed on msn or altavista.com. i had it for a year now.

Start building those links...article marketing is my personal favorite. Write articles and submit them to directories, and have them picked up by sites, blogs, and ezines.

Forum posting also helps for link building...have a link to your site in your sig.

Link exchanges help as well. And submitting your link to SEO friendly link directories.

Make sure your anchor text is properly optimized for your keywords.

 

first of all identify the keyword on which you wants to improve ranking then you can make webpages which are related to this keyword make a proper anchor text link for submission (directory,search engines etc),optimize the content,check broken link on your page,calculate text per code ration on your site,check keyword density and maintain it to certain limit by doing this you get good ranking on google serach engine

 

Get more quality links. Google give more priority on number of quality backlinks.

 

Should have been listed in MSN if you submitted it to MSN.
Try submitting again.
As for ranking this is depended mainly on quality back links.

 

hey it is not easy to get ranking on google.you have to study your whole site and compare with your competitor.and u have to do on site and off site optimization.

 

First go thoroughly through the google webmasters guidelines and you will get to know many things over there.

If get any confusion over there, you are most welcome in DP to clarify your doubts...

 

I think you should spend a week and read all the posts here in the SEO forum.
My main advice is you get quality backlinks..

 

Build quality backlinks and be aware of the SERP updates on Google.

Do On Page optimization on your offsite and then start doing off page optimization.

 

If you've had it for a year, I'm sure at least one backlink would of popped up and Google would of indexed you... are you sure you're not blacklisted?
