    Make sure your profile is cool. Keep adding people who share same interest like you from different fanpages.
    Or make a girls profile and you will get several requests. :D

    somehow just adding ppl to you profile doesn't work cose sometimes ppl won't agree and after few of those u get banned for several days -.-

    It depends on your reasons for adding people, I suppose! You can trawl through relevant groups maybe and find people who might be worth adding.

    It worked for me.

    When I switched back to a boring old pic friends requests went way down!
    (and that's where I left it )

    Anyways, On a serious note... If its your personal account just look for people around with similar interests. Surf through profiles of your friends, join groups and you definitely will get some friends in your list.

    And, if its your business page, join niche related groups and interact with people, offer help and encourage them to your friend list.

    If you just want to add friends for promote anything. I think 1 way you can post in games fan page in fb and say 'Please add me i want more neighbor' ppl will think you play same games and then they will add you.

    I find that posting in fan pages doesn't get you a whole lot. The good old fashioned way using ocommunity or FFAP is preferred by me.
