and how is that going to help his Alexa ranking...? Do you even know what Alexa is and what it does...?

 

If you've not already installed any of the Alexa ranking widgets on your website, do it and the rest will be done by the Alexa. When you place a widget/gadget on your website, it will not just show you the rank of your website but also measure the website statistics in the background and will be reflected with the accurate Alexa ranking in their webstie.

If you can get more visitors/and page views, then you'll be getting the better alexa ranking because Alexa ranking is based on the number of visitors and pageviews.

 

Why are you caring about alexa? your site is a e-commerce website so you just need traffic. So improve your rankings and visitors, dont care about alexa.

as mention by one from this thread, there is a software called alexa booster but i heard some people that doesn't see any improvement by using the software, just try by yourself to make sure mate..

 

First off, you have to know what you shouldn't do Don't use automatic link building services- if you use your site will drop in Alexa ranking for sure. I had Alexa 600k for one of my sites , after I used one famous service on WF my site dropped down to 1m800k in Alexa. That happened even before the latest Panda update . You're describing how to rank in SE's. To get a higher ranking in Alexa you just need to get traffic to your site and that traffic has to have the Alexa toolbar installed.
Alexa just tries to monitor traffic but only records traffic from people who have their toolbar installed. Most people in the US,CA,AU and UK do not use the toolbar so Alexa is not even close to accurate.

 

Alexa ranking is purely based on traffic - crikey - get off Alexa and get on with the real business of making money online.
