    well, I am not expert in SEO but I guess to make a link/website popular you need to build more backlinks to your site.

    Promote your site on forums, do link exchange with related sites. This will make your link popular.

    You need to build backlinks to increase your link popularity you can do this through press release submissions, article submissions, pay per post, and directory submissions.
