    Keyword Ranking and Traffic both are two different things. for the keyword ranking Off page submission is essential and for traffic use SMO.If you want both so you have to workout on both of them with high page rank resource & with quality and unique content.

    Try to get quality links from OnFocus websites. Don't expect Huge Traffic or high SERP instantly, build links manually & slowly by doing the OffPage SEO.

    You should do quality on and off page SEO for your site. Also Power full SMO for your site such Social Bookmarking, Press Release, Article Submission, Guest Blogging etc
    You also should have to make your site user friendly so they visit your site again and again and for thus the bounce rate will decrease.

    if you want to get good amount of traffic then first start with mid size keywords then go for big once. do proper on page and off page optimization to get ranking.
    Social media will also helps you in getting traffic and sales as well. Keep building links on various authorized sites of your niche and keep update your content on timely basis to get desired results.
