how i can edit my thread

how i can edit my thread whenever i start a new thread/post the edit button appears only few min . but next day no edit button appears on any post?

 

There is a short window to edit a post and then all you can do is post again. This is to prevent people from posting something for a day and deleting the next day. If it is a real problem, you can have your thread closed and start a new one. Just hit the report button on top the thread and ask for the thread to be closed.

Does the request has to be legitimate ? Like will u edit if someone said " hey i spelled noob wrong as noooooob " ??

 

I thought it's 12 hours time before edit button disappears.
