What can do also?
Just incase anyone is wondering I did actually mean stripslashes(); and not stripslahes(); lol All sounds good anyway and nice article, thought I would say it again.
This is great as you can appeal to both tech bloggers and environment bloggers at the same time. Check out hugg.com and treehugger to find other sites in your niche. Maybe an article explaining what happens to your mobile when its recycled would do well with the tech blogs. These haver been added to my list and the reviews will appear on the blog this week. http://www.scamtypes.com/ Writing articles like "how to avoid the xxx scam" and "Top 10 internet scams of all time" or "How XXXXXX made $xxxxx from an internet scam" are all interesting to me. The best way to make a directory valuable is to start blogging on it. Once you have loads of natural links people will pay to submit. Aviva directory does this very well. I will review this on the site (its on my list) but the above comment also applies.
I can't imagine that your site will last long by pulling in so many links so quickly. Enjoy the quick ride.
If you get natural links then you can get as many as you can. My link profile includes techcrunch and TIME magazine so they are all quality links
Any suggestions for http://www.stackians.com ? Mostly related to tech and gadget articles.. my main source is gizmodo..
Are you serious here or is it just a joke. lol If you forget about the search engines, you will get hundreds if not thousands of uniques from them 10,000 backlinks on a daily basis for a good few months. This is link baiting. People link to it because they think it's something that they want their visitors or others to know about meaning that your link will be on a good page of their site or blogged about even. It's not like putting your link on web directories or doing link exchanges where you get 1 unique visitor in every 100 directories or something per month. So just from the links them self's the site will be a hit.
Hi mad4; I have read your link baiting article . it's great but i just want to ask you dont you think 10k backlinks in 3 weeks is so fast it's possible to be sandbox with this speed?
could you please review my site, portablegadget dot com, I've been having a hard time generating links to it. Thanks in advance!
I made a rule to myself that i'd only submit to 25 directories a day, i use different anchor text and description each time. Just so that the big G don't think its links spamming. I don't know whether it makes any sense but it better to be safe than sorry
It will be interesting to see how much long will sandbox last. Will you rank for competitive phrases in 3-6 months. What do you think?
